He said "I wanna go back like it was before

And he slipped on the shades that spelled TCB
"-Go, driver! Memphis, Tennessee!"
Well, the night was so dark so when the car slowed down
At this big white house you were told to get out
Didn't know what to say, didn't know what to do
Said "-You're the cat with lip! Yeah I t hink that's cool!"
But he went into a stance and with a karate kick
Said "-There's only one king, you better catch on quick!"
On to the TV room and he was humming the blues
Said "-Honey go down and I'll tell you the news
Yeah, I wiggled my toe and I wiggled my legs
Wiggled my a** but I hate to beg
So I thought I'd go away but, honey, you know how it went
It didnt take long 'til I was living again
On the train, in the gym, jogging, trying to get fit
Or flying through space on a Banana Split!?
I mean the White House, honey, passed a secret bill called:
:The Scientific Search For The Face Of The King"
So he leaned right back, said "-What do you think?"
You said "- I guess I know nothing about everything
Like where you been, are you dead or alive?"
But he kinda just smiled, said "- We ain't got time"
And he wiggled his hips and he curled the lip
Rock-A-Hula Baby, yeah he let it rip
Yeah, you woke up on the sofa, no sign of the king
Wearing nothing but a diamond ring
