Well, I always been in trouble Started thinking there was something wrong with me Guess I got set up to be the one to take the heat for you Who, yeah who's the black sheep? It was always me It was always me The black sheep of the family At an early age I started thinking it was just a game And I never had no doubt about what part I had to play Who, who's the black sheep? It was always me It was always me The black sheep of the family Daddy yelled and mama cried "Everybody, take a look at that wicked little child He can't do nothing right He's not even trying But now you're all grown up And it's been a long time..." Sister set the table The apple of their eye, an angel Brother always talk about how much a doctor makes Who, yeah who's the black sheep? It was always me It was always me The black sheep of the family Who's the black sheep?

Been beating 'round the bush, been ignoring the signs There's a piece of the puzzle that we're never gonna find And we can go and pretend that we're fine But if your heart's not in it then we're wasting our time So don't cry Baby, don't cry Say bye-bye 'Cause we've come to the end of the line When you're a bit younger you we're hot as a flame You were hard as a rock but now you ain't the same It's been a long time since you set anyhting on fire Now you just blow smoke and you're not even trying So don't cry Baby, don't cry Say bye-bye 'Cause we've come to the end of the line I think you use me as a crutch when your down on your luck Yeah, you like to unload on me like a dump truck You need constant confirmation that I'm still your friend It ain't enough to say it once, you gotta to say it again So don't cry Baby, don't cry Say bye-bye 'Cause we've come to the end of the line Now, I ain't out to get you, got no ill will But it's up to you baby, what you choose to believe You're in the pit of self pity and you're draggin' me down So take a good look now, you won't see me around So don't cry Baby, don't cry Say bye-bye 'Cause we've come to the end of the line

Sneakin' in at night, while my baby was asleep Yeah, sneakin' in at night, while my baby was asleep Sneakin' in at night, on my midnight creep Sneakin' in at night, you never knew that I was gone Yeah, sneakin' in at night, you never knew that I was gone Sneakin' in at night, just before dawn Sneakin' in at night, I'm like a thief in my own home Yeah, sneakin' in at night, I'm like a thief in my own home Sneakin' in at night, just before dawn
4.
Yeah, I wonder Will we ever be more than friends? Yeah, I wonder Will we ever be more than friends? I can't get you to see me As anything but your friend Well, we've known each other for a pretty long while I've been secretly in love with you all this time Now I wonder Will we ever be more than friends? I can't get you to see me As anything but your friend I think that maybe you're thinking we're a pretty good match But you wanna wait around to see what else you can catch Yeah, tell me Will we ever be more than friends I can't get you to see me As anything but your friend We went out drinking one night and you let it slip out How you really feel about us just before you passed out Now, tell me Will we ever be more than friends I can't get you to see me As anything but your friend

Well, if you know you want her She turns you on Wake up, friend, you ain't the only one Don't wait too long Don't wait too long Hurry up, buddy, or she'll be long gone You know, time is ticking You think I'm wrong? She won't be hangin' 'round here too long Don't wait too long Don't wait too long Hurry up, buddy, or she'll be long gone Well, if you know you want her She turns you on Wake up, friend, you ain't the only one Don't wait too long Don't wait too long Hurry up, buddy, or she'll be long gone Don't wait too long Don't wait too long Don't wait too long Don't wait too long Hurry up, buddy, or she'll be long gone Don't wait too long Don't wait too long Don't wait too long Don't wait too long Hurry up, buddy, or she'll be long gone
6.
It's like you've changed You ain't the same The smile is gone From your face The flame has died Yeah, I can tell You say we're cool Yeah, cold as hell Well, I ain't no fool There must be somebody else A distant look An empty bed Alone at night I get no rest And when you're home Still far away It ain't no use To fool ourselves Well, I ain't no fool There must be somebody else When you come home You smell of wine You reek of whiskey You had a time The money's gone Went up in flames It ain't no use To try to explain Well, I ain't no fool There must be somebody else
7.
I think I'll pass on the chance to be your throw-away lover Yeah, I'll pass on the chance to be your throw-away lover It'll be a cold day in hell 'fore I slip beneath the covers Yeah, my heart ain't for sale, you can go find another Yeah, my heart ain't for sale, you can go find another Some lucky little punk to be your throw-away lover Well, I can have you tonight but when I wake up tomorrow Yeah, I can have you tonight but when I wake up tomorrow I know I'm gonna feel like a throw-away lover

about

Just a few months after the release of "Guilt" Wallin-Jison are back with another 7-song offering; "The Black Sheep Of The Family" which further explores their trademark sound of tradition-based, blues-influenced rock.

The album starts off with the contemplative title track, a song reflecting on the pressures of growing up, followed by the hard-edged but bitter sweet "We've Come To The End Of The Line".
Next is the acoustic-driven "Sneakin' In At Night" with it's infectious rhythm track. It tells the tale of finding yourself spinning a web of lies, fearing to get caught in it...

"Sneakin' in at night, like a thief in my own home"

The laid back, bluesy "More Than Friends" meditates on the universal dilemma of unrequited love while "Don't Wait Too Long", delving deeper into the blues, offers up some tough advice on the same subject.

The album picks up the tempo for the last two tracks. "There Must Be Somebody Else" is all guitar riffs and pure paranoia. Or maybe the truth is just too painful to face up to?

"I ain't no fool, there must be somebody else"

"The Black Sheep Of The Family" closes out with rocker "Throw-Away Lover", possibly Wallin-Jison's most hard-driving song to date. But there is more to follow soon....
